Oksana Pavlova

Early Life and Education
 

Oksana Pavlova (Оксана Павлова) is a Ukrainian pianist and a graduate student in piano performance at the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy in Lviv, Ukraine. 
 

Born and raised in Vinnytsia, Ukraine, Oksana studied music from 2013 to 2017 at the Vinnytsia College of Cultural Arts named after M.D. Leontovych. After graduating from the college in Vinnytsia, she was accepted to the Mykola Lysenko Lviv National Music Academy in Lviv, Ukraine, as a graduate student in piano performance. There, she became a master's student of József Örmény, recognized as one of the most prestigious pianists in Ukraine. 
 

Oksana has performed in numerous concerts and participated in several national and international piano masterclasses led by esteemed professors, including Yuriy Kot, Marta Andrushchak, Antonii Baryshevsky, Lily Dorfman, Dmytro Sukhovienko in Ochsenhausen, Germany, Daniele Petralia in Rome, and Giuseppe Devastato in Naples. In 2019, she received a special invitation to record compositions by Rachmaninoff and Scriabin at Riverside Studios in Cologne, Germany.

International Career and Performances

Oksana has garnered several international piano competition awards. Most recently, she achieved first place at The Young Soloist International Music Competition in New York, USA, a silver medal at the Caneres International Music Competition in Vienna, Austria, and a gold medal at the Grand Maestro International Music Competition in Toronto, Canada. 
 

Since the outbreak of war in Ukraine in 2022, Oksana has been displaced from her homeland. During her time in Europe, she has performed in various venues across the continent, including Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Brussels, Antwerp, Barcelona, and Malaga. In 2024, she performed with violinist Massimo Spadano at the Teatro Jofre in Ferrol, Spain, and later gave a series of concerts in Italy. 
 

In May 2024, she worked as a répétiteur at the Metz Opera Theatre in France. 

In May 2025, she performed at International Classical and Lyric Festival of Morges, Switzerland, where she was invited by modern composer Doryan Emmanuel Rappaz to perform at premiere of his new composition “Rhapsodie Corse”, an extremely challenging virtuoso piece. Her recital served as the Opening Concert for that year's festival lineup.
 

And she performed a private recital at the historic Swiss residence of the Charles Gounod family near Morges in April 2025.Oksana performed for numerous embassies: British, Polish, Czech, and Hungarian.

 

As Resident Artist at The St. Regis Kuwait since September 2025, Oksana curates daily recitals that bridge cultures and eras. While her artistry is deeply rooted in the works of Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, and Chopin, her active performance repertoire extends across a wide spectrum, including the masterworks of Liszt, Schubert, Brahms, and French Impressionists, bringing a true concert-hall experience to an international audience.

Artistic Philosophy and Repertoire
 

For Oksana, the piano is an integral part of her life. She strives for an international career as a soloist, performing solo recitals, chamber music, and concertos with orchestras. She finds profound meaning in delving into the music of composers and understanding their lives through their works. 
 

While she performs a wide range of music, she possesses a particular affinity for the works of Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, showcasing a profound understanding of their styles. Indeed through that understanding her playing of music she bridges cultural misunderstandings in the most profound manner.

 

Her continuous exploration of music enriches her artistry, the people she plays for and the industry of music. Her music is quite literally more powerful than her words.
